Magnolia Car Wash ("we," "us") runs a hand car wash and detailing center at 8931 Magnolia Ave, Santee, CA 92071. This page explains what information we collect when you book online or join our loyalty program, and how we use it. We keep it simple because our handling of your data is simple.
What we collect
- Your name and phone number — to book your appointment and run your loyalty punch card (your phone number is how we track your washes).
- Your email address — if you provide it, to send your booking confirmation and, only if you opt in, occasional offers.
- Your mobile number for text messages — only if you check the SMS opt-in box, so we can text booking reminders and "your car is ready" updates. See the SMS section below.
- Your vehicle details — make, model, and year you enter for an appointment, so we're ready when you arrive.
What we do NOT collect
We do not take payments online — you pay in person at the shop. We never collect or store credit card or other payment information through this website.
How we use it
- To schedule and prepare for your wash or detailing appointment.
- To track your loyalty progress (buy 7 washes, get the 8th free).
- To email your booking confirmation.
- To send promotional offers only if you checked the marketing opt-in box.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf — our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our email provider (Resend), and our text-message provider (Twilio) — solely so the booking, email, and SMS features work. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing, and no mobile information is sold.
Marketing emails & opting out
Marketing emails are sent only to customers who opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time with one click. Unsubscribing stops promotional emails; you'll still receive confirmations for washes you book. You can also ask us to remove you by calling or replying to any email.
Text messages (SMS)
We send text messages only to customers who check the SMS opt-in box when booking. With your consent we may text you appointment reminders and a "your car is ready" notice. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your bookings. Mobile numbers are never shared with third parties or sold, and are not shared with anyone for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep your booking and loyalty records for as long as you remain a customer so your punch card and history stay intact. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
